❤ IMATS TAG!

I'm so excited for IMATS this year. IMATS is the International Makeup Artist Trade Show where all these huge companies come together under one roof to share their products and sell them at a huge discount. It does cost money to attend IMATS and its only in certain cities. Check out IMATS.net for more info. SO my friend, Alex, and I have been planning since the last one. I remember how much fun it was and how exciting it was to meet all the YouTube gurus. I have a blog post about it. Click here. I remember exactly who I met. MakeupbyTiffanyD, enKore Makeup, Pursebuzz, QueenofBlending, Petrilude, xsparkage and my absolute fave, JulieG713! Be sure to watch the video to see who I wanna meet this year and what exhibits I'm so excited for and all the stuff I plan to get my hands on. Thanks for reading my blog and watching my videos =)

❤ April Haul

I have another huge haul to share with you. So I got Wet N Wild sets that included a blush, nail polish, lip gloss and a eyeshadow trio. And I also got 3 more trios. I'll be sure to do a separate video and blog swatching and reviewing those.

Flora

Fauna

Cool As A Cucumber

Silent Treatment

I Got Good Jeans

I got some Elf nail polished. I haven't tried any from them so I hope these are good. I also got some mineralize eyeshadows from Elf too. They came with 3 for $5 so that's awesome. Below you can see the neato swatches.

I forgot to share some new Concrete Minerals that I ordered. I got the Valentine's day collection, X's & O'x, Cupid and Sweetheart, plus the craving of the week, Swamped. I also got a sample of Vegas which I love! Swatches are below.

I wanted to try some new lipsticks since my collection mainly has NYX lipsticks. So I picked up a bunch of NYC's lipsticks, they were .93 cents a piece so why not.

I also ordered fake MAC pigments from eBay. I wanted to try these out and test their quality. I'm going to do a separate video for these so stayed tune. Soon that will be up. I almost forget the Hard Candy lip balms! They have super cute packaging, so I wanted to test them out and see if I like them as much as I like the Maybelline Baby Lips.

❤ Jesse's Girl Baked Eyeshadows Review & Swatches

I've been a huge fan of Jesse's Girl for a long time now. I first tried their eye dusts and loved them. A few years ago, Jesse's Girl sent me the Color My World baked eyeshadow set and I freakin' loved them. When I'd seen that a new collection of six shadows were at Rite Aid, I had to get them all. Very reasonable prices, I think $3.99 each. They don't have a name for the set, but these were the ones with the black round compact. Then they released the Mineralized Baked Powder Eye Shadows and I picked up 5 of the 6 because my Rite Aids didn't carry Ocean Breeze. Jesse's Girl wanted to send me some of their new palettes so that's when I got Ocean Breeze and the baked eyeshadow palette. So I finally decided to do a review on these. I've included photos of swatches in my video and below in this blog. I think the quality of baked shadows are really awesome. They're really unique because most of them have a mixture of two colors so when you pick up the color you get something totally different than what you're looking at, since they mixed together and all. I'm going to rate these according to each collection.

Baked Powder Eye Shadow Collection
First I share the palette. I'm not really fond of the packaging on this one. The texture is really nice, I love how baked shadows feel to begin with. The application is easy and they blend easily. They have great pigmentation with little effort. I've used these with a base and they have great staying power. There's a nice variety, nothing too over the top or in your face, just some nice colors.

Packaging: 6/10
Texture: 10/10
Application: 8/10
Pigmentation: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Variety: 7/10
OVERALL: 8.1/10
Price: $6.99

Color My World
I really love these shadows. The collection includes 4 colors, Aqua, Earthtone, Evergreen and Volcanic. They're huge so you get a lot of product for the price. They're listed on the Jesse's Girl website for "Last Chance" so they're gonna be gone soon. I like the packaging, its really unique with the clear lid on a black compact. Of course I like the texture. Application is smooth and silky, and the pigmentation is amazing. They last all day and I'm very sad for the variety since they only had 4 colors released in this collection.

Packaging: 9/10
Texture: 10/10
Application: 8/10
Pigmentation: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Variety: 3/10
OVERALL: 8/10
Price: $3.50
Available Here

Mineralized Baked Powder Eye Shadows
This collection contains 6 very pretty colors. Esmeralda, Graphite Frost, Kiwi Shine, Ocean Breeze, Plum Frost and Rosemary Frost. The packaging is pretty cool. They're square with clear case and a black plastic lining that holds the eyeshadow pan. The application and pigmentation are fairly the same formula as the other eyeshadows so their payoff is the same. They're very long lasting with a good base, just like almost any other eyeshadow. And the variety isn't very large.

Packaging: 8/10
Texture: 10/10
Application: 8/10
Pigmentation: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Variety: 4/10
OVERALL: 8/10
Price: $3.99
Available Here

And finally the last collection I showed in my video. They don't really have a name for this collection but they're the ones with the black compact packaging, which I freakin' love the best out of all of these. I rate the texture, application, pigment and longevity all the same at the other baked shadows, variety is the same as the mineralized baked shadows since they also have 6 colors in this collection too.

Packaging: 10/10
Texture: 10/10
Application: 8/10
Pigmentation: 9/10
Longevity: 9/10
Variety: 4/10
OVERALL: 8.3/10
Price: $3.99
No Longer Available.

So overall these shadows are roughly an 8 in my book. They have great colors with great payoff for a great price! Some of these are still available on the Jesse's Girl website while one collection I can't seem to find anywhere. I was not paid to do this review. All opinions are my own. Thanks for reading my blog and/or watching my videos =)

❤ Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

The Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadows really stood out because I really like their packaging and the colors in this collection. If you watched my video, I mention how I really love all the colors and how extremely pretty they all are. Basically overall I would rate these 7.5. Let me break it down for you. First lets start with packaging. I love the packaging. I think they look so nice in a standard round container with a clear bottom so we can see the color inside and with a black lid. Very nice. Now with pigmentation, most of them have great pigmentation. Some require a little more work than others but basically they have great color payoff. Texture is nice, since we already know they're in cream form I wasn't surprised by it. I do enjoy the fact that when they dry they feel just like an eyeshadow. I find this formula very unique. Application was a little tricky for me when using more than one of these colors. Once they dry they're almost impossible to blend. When I experimented with these on myself I just used one of these with some of my other shadows and they worked better that way. I like that these don't need any sort of primer or base since they kinda work like one to begin with, until they dry that is. And like I mentioned before a couple need more work to get a good color payoff. I find the Painted Purple to be streaky and the Edgy Emerald is slightly steaky as well. I'm very satisfied with the longevity of these shadows. I have not tested them for a full 24 hours like their packaging states, but I did test for about 10 and I'm very happy they stayed put, no creasing and no fading. They really lasted the whole day for me. They really stuck onto my arm when I did swatches of these too. And as for variety, I know its a complete new products just introduced, but I still rate the variety of colors they offer. I find 10 shades to be alright, not totally impressed. So there you have it. Overall these are super cool shadows, I'm not too sure if they're a favorite, something I would reach for day to day, but they are really unique.

❤ February & March Haul

This is a really big haul for me. Watch the video for all items. I will be doing a review on the Maybelline 24hr tattoo eyeshadows and also on the baby lips AND the LA Colors Jumbo pencils too! I usually don't do haul videos, I really enjoy watching them, but I guess when I tend to buy a lot of stuff all at once I like to make a video to share with ya'll. =)
