❤ Concrete Minerals Review

I believe I just discovered my new obsession! Concrete Minerals!! I'm not saying that because I know the owner or anything. I really tested these bad boy products out to give you my honest opinion. First off, I will state that shipping was next day! Emily, the owner sent me this package out on Tuesday afternoon and I got it Wednesday!! That's freakin' amazing. So not only was she on top of her game with fast delivery, I'm super impressed with the products too.

So I received 2 Sexy Lips Lip Tints. I got them in Electro and Tease. I really love the packaging on these. I wasn't so sure what they really were when looking on the website cause they appear to be lipstick in a chapstick case. So when I tried them, they were basically just that. A lipstick and a chapstick had a baby and its a lip tint. They're soft and smooth like chapstick but have that hint of color like lipstick. They smell really good. The scent was really something that stood out because they freakin' smell like Andes Mints. I'm not sure if its just me, but I'd buy more of them cause they smell so good, and I can have that awesome aroma float into my nostrils all day long. Below are the two shades I have, and below that is the swatches on the back of my hand.

So the Electric Eye Primer is really amazing. Its so silky smooth and its application goes on so easily. Feels like baby lotion. I usually stick to bases that are kinda sticky (not like ew gross sticky) but tacky would be a better term. So I totally tested the primer out over the weekend. I will have makeup tutorials using the mineral eyeshadows. AND it totally lasted without any creasing or any kind of movement. Thumbs up!

The Mineral Eyeshadows are so cool. Like way cool, cooler than finding out who the mother is on How I Met Your Mother. Hahaha Anyway I got to try out 7 different shades, 6 are regular sizes and 1 is a sample. So in the photos above you can see all the pigments and swatches. If you have done swatches over and over, you can tell from a photo if a product is legit. So for me, those swatches are the shizznit! I'm very impressed with the color payoff. They're really pigmented, vibrant AND easy to blend together with one another. The colors from left to right are: Rocked, Ruse, Wicked, Brat, Zealous, Troublemaker and Souljourner.

So here is my experimenting, trying out, testing part of my review. Below are 4 photos. The first two are from Saturday. I did my makeup in early afternoon (cause I had dinner plans and whatnot afterwards) SOOOOO 8 wonderful fun hours later, and some karaoking lol, I came home and took another pic before I washed my face. The following 2 photos are from Sunday. I did a tutorial midday and 5 hours later took the next pic. I don't know why I didn't wait longer than that, but it was a 5 hour difference for that one.

So you can see that the primer really held on and the shadows stayed put. What more do you want from a makeup company? Oh that's right, great prices! The primer is $10.99, which isn't that bad since I do have a LORAC primer that's $21! So can't complain there. The Mineral Eyeshadows are $6.99 which is a reasonable price AND the website does offer sets and weekly specials, so always check the site to see what you can save.The Lip Tints are $5.99 which is a great price too. I will say it over and over again, I am a HUGE Kat Von D fan. I finally got my hands on the Memento Mori palette. I also got the Gypsy palette too, thanks to an amazing girl on Make Up Alley. I will have a seperate video and blog for the Gypsy palette. This item is limited edition and you can no longer purchase it from Sephora. I have been looking for both of the palettes for over a year and I'm super estatic that I found someone who would sell them to me. In the swatches below, it kinda stands out that the cream shadow doesn't look very appealing. It's because it's almost dried out. I'm not too worried about it because I don't really use cream shadows, but it does suck cause KVD should have put all shadows in these palettes. I notice her newer ones have no cream shadows, so that's cool. I really love the white case and my fave color in this palette is meditation. Its so pretty and reminds me of a color from her Ludwig palette, Downtown. Anyway I wanted to share the colors so if anyone really loves these colors, you gotta work your butt off to find them. If not enjoy the photos. I can say without a doubt that 3 of the colors are in other palettes. Tijuana, Sugar Skull and Solitude I think were all in the first Tattoo Chronicles palette. So if you have that, you have almost half of them.

❤ Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Inspired Eyes

As you know I love Kat Von D so when I seen this photo of her with such bright colors I wanted to do my first celeb look!

All the shadows I used are from my Inglot palettes. The lipstick is NYX Spakle Lipstick in Orange. I love the yellow and green combo with the coral lips. So ready for spring. I haven't tried anything from the new line, but I hope to get my hands on it soon so I can review that for all ya'll KVD fans!

❤ INGLOT Eyeshadow Palette #2 Swatches

Gosh I love Inglot! They are definitely a brand I will continue to by over and over again. I've only tried their eyeshadows, but I can't wait to try their other products. I usually don't like ordering online unless I know what I'm getting so I will wait until my next visit to Las Vegas and check out some more products. I'll be going in April so I can't wait! EEQ! This is my second eyeshadow palette that I got last year and I love all the bright colors. They're super pigments and have great color payoff. They blend together so well and I love the selection of colors that are part of the freedom system. If you don't already know, the freedom system is pretty awesome. Basically you choose your palette, here I chose the 10 eyeshadow square. I believe that they also have lipsticks and blushes part of the freedom system too. But I'll stick with the shadows. So you just pick out the colors you want in your palette. This one cost me $50 which is a pretty awesome price, that would make each eyeshadow only $5! Great right? ❤ Soft Pink Valentine Eyes

Here is a really easy look for Valentine's Day. I used some neutral colors and soft pinks, I hope you like this. I also did a super bright pink look for the holiday too so go search for that if you think this is too subtle for your taste. All eyeshadows are NYX shadows and the blush is Pinky by NYX as well. Eyeliner is Almay liquid liner, I really love this stuff. I don't remember which lashes I used, but I am wearing two pairs here, I believe one may be from NYC. I may have to do some research sense alot of people ask and I never keep track. I'll be sure to be better at that.

Blue Had Me at Hello palette is a really nice palette. It reminds me of Kat Von D's Metal Orchestra palette with all the dark colors and dark blues. I love the pigmentation. They're very vibrant. I especially love the turquiose color. Its very pretty and gives any look that instant pop of color. For $4.99 I think this is a great buy.

I have been getting more and more into nail polishes. My hubby hates it, but in all reality its much more affordable than makeup. I will always love makeup though. Anyway I slowly but surely collected all 18 nail polishes that make up Jesse's Girl's nail polish collection. I believe this is a permanent line so it should be around forever... hopefully. I was thinking about including photos of each polish with a nail swatch but that consists of 18 photos SO watching the video would be much easier. ❤ Super Duper Easy CD Case Palette

Super easy to do CD case palette.
What you need:
CD Case that you don't need anymore
Depotted Eyeshadows or anything that would fit into the case,
Glue, I used Elmers Glue
Magnet Sheet (optional)
Paper with a picture or image you want to display on the case.
Scissors
Ruler

This is probably the easiest project ever!
Step 1:
Take out the CD and cover from the CD case. You are then gonna remove the part of the CD case that hold the CD in place. Easiest way is hold the bottom of the case in both hand then slowly twist it. One corner will pop out. Grab that corner and pull it so the opposite corner pops out. Then you'll have to manuever to the other side and pull on one corner inwards away from the edge and once that corner is released it should come right out.
Step 2:
Have your Paper ready (with printed picture or image you desire.)
You don't have to have paper. Feel free to just glue the shadows to the back of the case if you want.
Printing measurements are front 4.78 x4.78 and back is 5.95x4.73
Cut your paper to correct measurements. If your image was printed to big you can either reprint at a smaller size or just cut off the edges. Basically you just need the paper to be cut to the measurements below. I only did it for the back of the case and left the front empty so I can easily see my eyeshadows.
The case itself, the front is 4 inches by 4 inches and the back is about 4 inches by 4 1/4 inches wide.
Step 3:
Glue the paper to the back of the case. Then begin gluing the eyeshadows to the paper. Let dry and you're done!

Easy right? I've been wanting to make a cd palette but never decided what I wanted to put into one. Then one day I officially decided that my NYX eyeshadow trio were just plain ugly in the palette contraption they came in. So the cd case came into play and I'm super happy with it and it's totally cute. I hope you guys try this out.

My first Valentine look! I absolute love the final product. Items I used are Icing white eyeshadow along with Sugarpill Tako eyeshadow. Then NYX Red Pink single shadow and NYX Purple single shadow. I also used some LORAC's Private Affair Smoky Eye Palette, the darkest purple in it to smoke out the edges of my eyes. Plus 2 pairs of lashes to give this look extra flair. I will be doing a more subtle look for anyone who this this is too extreme for them. Thanks for watching.

I've seen LA Colors in many places and never had an interest to try it out UNTIL my husband and I went to the Dollar Tree and I spotted the trios there. They had 6 of them and I fell in love. I think for a buck a piece they're totally worth it. They have great pigmentation and easy to blend. I think LA Colors is overlooked because most would think that it's not a good quality product since its mostly sold in mom and pop stores and just random places. I think they'll be up and coming and more popular especially through YouTube. Here are the swatches of each palette. Enjoy!

I think this is a fun and edgy look that will work great for a night out. Its really easy to do and you don't need expensive brands to do it, use anything in your collection!

This wet n wild palette is pretty impressive for what a drug store eyeshadow's reputation holds. These colors are super pigmented and feel creamy and are just filled with tons of beautiful colors. This palette does remind me of the Kat Von D palette, Ludwig. So pretty and definitely a new fave. Below are some swatches from this palette. I may to a comparison video against the Kat Von D palette. And we will see which one really holds up against all the important aspects of an eyeshadow palette. Random look #2. Eyeshadows I used are Jazzy Bronze, Extreme Apricot, Hollywood and Barely There all by NYX Cosmetics. So if you haven't seen look #1 I basically pick shadows at random and I have to create a look from them. Barely there I chose while the other 3 were random and this is the look I came up with. Watch the video for instruction on shadow placement. The photos make the Extreme Apricot appear more of a pink when its actually a bright orange.

Like always I say this. Huge Kat Von D fan and I love her makeup! This palette is amazing. I'm not that ecstatic about the cream shadow, but it works alright for a base. Its a really pretty color, I wish it was an actual eyeshadow though. I love the soft neutral in this palette and the deep burgundy is a great smoky color. Very intense with great pigmentation. They're easy to blend. I love the quality of her eye shadows. I'm never disappointed.

This is a collective of items I've gotten in the last month or so. I titled this November Haul since I introducing it in November, not particulary because I got it all in November. I hope you guys enjoy and maybe get some ideas for the upcoming holiday season.

Anyway, below are photos of some items I've shown in the video. Here is the Wet N Wild eyebrow kit.

Kat Von D is my super favorite. I got three palettes, True Love, Angeles and Metal Orchestra. I will be doing swatch videos for these palettes in the near future.

Avon is a pretty decent brand, but not my go to for eyeshadows. They're nice and have an ok application, but to get a great color payoff you gotta work with it a bit.

Hot Topic eyeshadows look amazing and some are. So I got four fabulous colors, bright purple, an intense blue, neon green and a bright pink. You can see the swatches and how amazing the first three are. But when you see the pink, the swatch is quite pathetic. I even tried applying 3 coats and that's as bright as it got. Very sad and I was upset about it. Not too upset since this shadow was only 3 bucks but still!

Neon green so pretty!

The purple is so intense. I love how vibrant this is.

The blue is beautiful! Will definitely give any eye color a pop.

This pink is pathetic! I am so disappointed with the swatch. Not sure if I just got a bad or old one but it has no pigmentation at all.

Here are the 4 elf palettes I got and I love them. I love elf. I think they do produce a lot of great quality make up.

I love glitter but it can be very messy.

So this is what I decided to be for Halloween, well for my friends' party the weekend before because I was also the devil the weekend prior. So this was my first time ever using liquid latex and it was easier to use then I expected. I also used all e.l.f. shadows for this look. Mainly the 100 eyeshadow palette. Check out my video for some easy to do steps. I'm really happy with the outcome and if I'd known how easy it was to use the liquid latex I most likely would have done most my face. Alright SOOOO I was a Devil for my brother and sister-in-laws Halloween party. My costume was real simple, it consisted of the headband with the two horns, a bow tie which was kinda tight and I didn't care for and a tail that you just clip onto your clothes. I also bought a pitchfork to kinda complete the whole look. So this is the makeup I actually wore to the party. Products I used were mostly Inglot eyeshadows and some NYX. ❤ Jesse's Girl Palettes Swatches

I was super stoked to try out Jesse's Girl new eyeshadow palettes. There are four in the collection and each one has nine eyeshadows. They are smaller than the average palette, but the average palette price ranges from 30-60 bucks. You can find these palettes at Rite Aid or at Jesse's Girl Cosmetics DOT com for only $3.99! I think that's a steal! The pigmentation of these shadows were really impressive and I really like the color combos. I don't have much to complain about with these other than it really bothers me that the two shadows on each end are not the same size as the rest and that's only because of the shape and size of the palette itself. I know its a silly thing cause the difference is like .01 oz but still I want that .01 oz! I guess I'm just anal. I've messed around with all of them and my fave is the green palette. I got a lot of compliments when I wear these colors too. They kinda remind of nature, there's lots of greens and browns like trees in the forest and the blue reminds me of the sky above those trees. Very beautiful palette. Each one includes a double sided sponge tip brush which I'm a huge fan of and I like that its a long brush so its much easier to use. I think its a great buy and anyone should try them all... or at least one! Check out the awesome swatches below.

Its so much fun creating Halloween looks. This is a look for a peacock, which I have never been for Halloween but I've always wanted to be but the costumes never looked right on me. So I decided to do this for anyone who is gonna be a peacock this Halloween. It doesn't just end there, this look will also look great if you're a sexy leprechaun, or a sexy Mad Hater or even a simple mermaid. I think this would be awesome with anything that has a lot of greens. Products I used in the video are Inglot eyeshadows: #16, #58, #67, #372, #453. Wet N Wild brow kit, Almay liquid eyeliner, icing pencil eyeliner, and I don't remember which lashes I used. So I hope you enjoyed the video, here are some pictures too.

❤ Kat Von D Candelabra Edition Palette

Kat Von D is my absolute favorite. She is an amazing tattoo artist and makeup artist as well as photographer. I love her. So as soon as I heard this palette came out I had to have it. I do have the Tattoo Chronciles Volume 1 so I figured this may be Volume 2 but it doesn't say. Anyway I checked out my nearest Sephora and nabbed one for myself for $49. I'm really weird when it comes to brand new palettes cause I never want to use them because they look so pretty brand new. Well I had to use it cause I really wanted to make a video and for me to do that I obviously had to use it to get swatches and all that good stuff. I'm really happy with this palette. I know some colors may be repeats from other palettes, I know for a fact Downtown, Holy Bible and Speed Blue are all repeats but its ok, we got a lot of new colors and I'm uber excited to share with you. I think the quality of her products are unbelievable. They are all consistent throughout. All shimmer shadows always have a wonderful payout and the matte shadows are just as good. I think Kat Von D's matte shadows use less effort to get a great color payoff than MAC and some other products I've used. Sorry I usually tend to compare to MAC because they are really popular and ridulously overpriced. That's my opinion. This palette cost $49 and it comes with 16 shadows and 1 mascara. So if we calculate, basically each item cost $2.88. That's a deal, sorry I'm not a huge fan when it comes to $15 for a small eyeshadow. Anyway, there are plenty of super great cosmetics lines that perform just as good or even better and I would tell anyone to branch out cause you never know you may fall in love with an alternative brand. Such as I, I love Kat Von D eyeshadows. I've also used the mascara that's included in this set and so far I really like it. But for me I hardly wear mascara, I only use it on my bottom lashes so my top lashes never really touch mascara too often. But so far its good, no complaints. ❤ JulieG Nail Polish Collection from Jesse's Girl

I was uber excited for this collection. Jesse's Girl, Cathy, herself sent these to me to try out and I love them. Each color takes no more than two coats and they all have a nice shiny finish. I haven't tested them yet for early chipping. The longest I usually wear a color is about 2 1/2 days before I switch so they last that long without chips which is great for me. I really like the colors. They're very pretty. The one I like the best is Stiletto because the color is really unique and its neutral so it'd go with everything. Below are some swatches of each. ❤ Kat Von D Beethoven Palette Swatches

I'm a huge fan of Kat Von D. This is her Beethoven Palette. I believe it was her second palette that was release. Three of the colors from this palette are also in the Ludwig palette which at first I thought was lame but for real the colors that have been duped are the ones that are mostly used and can be used for just about any look. I really love the quality of the shadows. They are very smooth and very pigmented and like I've said before on my review of the Ludwig palette, you are totally getting your money's worth with this palette. ❤ INGLOT Eyeshadow Palette

So here is my first ever INGLOT palette from the freedom system. I remember seeing xsparkage use this and I fell in love with the yellow she used. I obviously have yellow eyeshadows but I haven't found one that was super extreme and vibrant. I have NYX and MAC and they don't live up to what I expect from a really great yellow eyeshadow. So thanks to her video I decided to venture out and try INGLOT and I fell in love! I now have 3 palettes, 2 of the ten shadows and 1 twenty shadow. So I wanted to share my first palette that got me into this brand. Below are some pictures of swatches and I'll list the numbers for each. INGLOT names their colors by numbers so it can get confusing.

❤ Blues and Neutral Look using Jesse's Girl

So I created this look using all Jesse's Girl Baked Eyeshadows. I used Ocean Breeze, Esmerelda, Terra Bronze and Graphite Frost. I'm the type of person who hardly wears blue shadows, but for some crazy reason I love the eyeshadows. I always tend to buy them and I love them but on my eyes I just don't care for it EXCEPT for this blue. I think its cause its more towards a darker blue than a bright vibrant blue so to me it looks much better on my eyes. I also used some Icing black eyeliner, cause its really my all time fave and also some fake lashes. I didn't put any eyeliner on the top lid so you can see more shadow this way. A good friend of mine who use to work for the company had given me this palette as a gift and I absolutely love it. I love that the colors are neutral, I can wear this everyday. The colors are very pigments and feel so silky smooth. Very easy to blend and I really like the brush that comes with it.

❤ NYX Ultimate Pearl Shadows Review

NYX Ultimate Pearl Shadows are very smooth shadows. There were a couple I think were a bit shear and took more time to make more vibrant. You can see in the photos below swatches of each color. My fave are the warm bronzy colors like Copper Pearl and Gold Pearl. What I really like about these is how they feel. They're very soft, not powdery or chalky so that's a huge plus for me. You can get these at the NYX website and they're $7. I think that's kinda pricey for a single eyeshadow, if you've read my previous entries I like to have a bargain so as you can tell MAC is hardly in my collection. ❤ Victoria Secret Eyeshadow Palettes Review

So I finally got to try out Victoria Secret makeup! My coworker gave me a $50 gift card to VS and I really wanted to try out the make up. Even though I'm not that impressed with the packaging, I don't care for gold, the eyeshadows are amazing. The quality is fantastic. They have great pigmentation and are easy to blend together. I love the neutral colors that come in both these palettes cause you can wear them literally everyday if you want. They are new shadows to the line, at least that's what the store clerk told me. They were $26 each so for me I like to break it down and figure that it would cost $5.20 per eyeshadow is really great because there are cosmetic lines that charge 3 or 4 times the amount and I think they have the same quality. This is my honest opinion, like I said I got these for my birthday. I was not paid by Victoria Secret to make this video or do this blog. It was my own free will. ❥ Perfect Bride Makeup! ❤

The perfect bridal look consists of many neutral shadows with a hit of pink. My fave to these looks is MAC Mythology. I think it is such a great eyeshadow for any bridal look. For my most recent brides I've been using my Kat Von D Ludwig palette but you can find any dupes to these shadows through not so expensive brands. But I don't think Kat Von D palettes are that expensive, ya they're $34 but I like to look at it as 8 shadows for that price, each shadow would be $4.25 which is a bargain compared the the high end, MAC which is like $15 each. And I believe the size of each Kat Von D shadow is the same size as a MAC so its up to you, I think its a great buy and there are so many looks you can do with one palette. Anyway my point, the best bridal look consists of neutrals because 10, 20 years from now neautrals wouldn't be a mistake you made on the biggest day of your life. That's my personal opinion. ❤ e.l.f. 100 Eyeshadow Palette Review

So I was really excited that I picked up this palette. Actually I had seen it at Target and told my hubby about it and he stopped by there on his way home from work to pick it up for me. What a sweetheart. Anyway, I was really excited to get this and I wanted to share with you swatches of every single color from this palette. Ya apparently I have no life and I did all 100 for you. Its all good, totally worth it. Plus I got to test out each one and get a real good feel for every shadow in this palette. I really love frosty, shimmery shadows more than matte. I don't know why I'm not a huge matte fan but I do love frosty shadows. I think this palette is a great find. Its $10 at Target and you get 100 shadows that are very pigmented. I have many of their eyeshadow books and I absolutely love those too. You can create a million looks with this palette and I think the packaging is pretty decent. I don't really have any complaints about it other than I'm not a huge matte shadow fan but I still like the fact that there are many finishes included in this palette. I hope this product review helped you out.

❤ Icing, Affordable Good Quality Eyeshadows

Here is my collection of Icing by Claire's eyeshadows. I've slowly built this collection over time. These eyeshadows unforunately don't have names for their colors but they are really pigmented and for the price you get a lot of product. I wanted to show you some swatches for each shadow. I did not use a base so this is its true color on my skin. They are almost 3x the amount of a MAC shadow but they cost me $3.50 each as opposed to $15 for a MAC eyeshadow. Many of these eyeshadows blend easily together and are very consistent. The shimmery and satin colors are easy to apply but for the frosty shadows they are a bit harder to apply using a regular brush. I think a sponge applicator brush applies the frost colors much better and you get a more intense color. I've been using Icing eyeshadows for a long time and I would recommend these to anyone just starting out and want to begin building their makeup collection. And don't forget to check out some of Claire's eyeshadows because they also have some really great stuff too. I hope these swatches help you out. Thanks.

These are the next 8 but the gold (the 3rd) is randomly out of place, in the collection photo its the first color on the 4th row.

The last 7 are here, in the collection photo I actually have a double of the orange shade so I didn't swatch it twice but it ended up in the photo.

So I decided to start a series and I was looking for something unique and I haven't seen anyone do this yet so I'm gonna try. For each look in my random series I'm gonna go through my eye shadows and at random choose shadows that I must create a look with. This is the first look. I think the colors went well together. Let me know what you think. The colors used in this look are Platinum Pink, Green Tea, Eggplant, Wildfire and I chose the 5th color, Geisha.

❤ Pure Ice Nail Polish Swatches

Pure Ice nail polish can be found at Walmart. I think these a really great quality for the price. Only 2 of them shown below did I have to apply more than 1 coat. I love the variety of fun colors that vary from metallic finish, to matte to shimmer/sparkle finish. I don't mind applying the extra coats to the more irredescent shades because they last a pretty decent amount of time. These are the few I happily own, so I hope these swatches help you when purchasing Pure Ice nail polish.

I love Kat Von D and I absolutely love this palette. It comes with eight eyeshadows that are all very pigmented and very consistant. They are each .05 oz which is the same size as a MAC eyeshadow so for the price of $34 they are basically $4.25 per eyeshadow. That's a steal. I would totally recommend this palette. There are plenty of neutral colors that go well with the greens in this palette. If you try this out, let me know what you think. I hope these swatches help you out in your makeup purchasing needs.

❤ Easy To Do Summer Look Using NYX

So to create this simple easy summer look all you will need are three neutrel colors. I used NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Shadow in Oro, its basically just a metallic gold shadow. And I also chose Volcano and Barely There. First I primed my eyes with Lorac Primer. Then I applied the gold shadow all over my eyelid using a shadow brush. Add the highlight, Barely There, below your brow. Then using a contour brush or blending brush add the darker color, Volcano, to the crease. Wipe off any access shadow from the brush and use the same brush to blend Volcano into the highlight. After that I used some pencil eyeliner and lined my waterline on my top lid. Then add mascara. I decided to use some simple not too over the top lashes since I don't have very thick noticable lashes. I used NYX Black Label Lipstick in Girly Pink. I chose this because its also not too over the top and I think it goes well with the summer theme. I hope you enjoy this look for today.

❤ Sugarpill Sweetheart Makeup

I used the Sugarpill Sweetheart palette for this look and I used all four colors provided in the palette. First I applied my base then I applied Midori, the green shadow, all over my lid area. I then used Tako as a highlight and also applied at my tearduct to open my eyes more. Then using Dollipop, the very bright pink shadow, I added that above the crease and blended it into the highlight color. Then the final color, Afterparty the pretty vibrate blue shadow, I added on my bottom lid below the lashes, but not too much cause you don't want to look like you have black eyes. That finishes my easy Sugarpill Sweetheart Makeup look. I hope you liked this look.

Here is my version of the red white a blue eyes for this 4th of July. It's real easy to do and everything I used you can get from your local drugstore. The look includes Jesse's Girl eye dusts, transformer, baked shadow and cream shadow, also Almay liquid liner and Wet N Wild eyeliner. Very simple look, easy to do. So my husband and I were wondering around the mall, mainly I wanted to check out The Icing to see if they have any new makeup that I could check out. They have some nice stuff that really works so if you're ever there check it out. I may be doing a swatch video of some eye shadows that they use to carry but they should be the same quality as the new stuff they have in. Anyway my mall now has a NYX kiosk so my jaw dropped when I spotted it and my hubby was like "oh sh*t" lol. I only got a few things. 5 nail polishes and 2 glitter on the go powders. ❤ IMATS Haul & Photos

Yesterday Alex and I got to attend for the very first time, IMATS! International Makeup Artist Trade Show. I was so stoked for this event and it was everything and more. I was uber ecstatic that I got to meet a ton of YouTube makeup gurus. One of my faves that I had the honor of meeting was the incredible JulieG713. She had a little brush giveaway after her live tutorial and I luckily got a kabuki brush and a stippling brush! A few very recognizable faces from the YouTube community that I also ran into were Elessa of Pursebuzz, Koren of Enkore Makeup, Lauren Queen of Blending, Leesha of xsparkage and Josh aka pertilude and Amy, not a YouTuber, but she's the owner of SugarPill Cosmetics! I'll include some photos from the event. I also got to purchase the Sweetheart palette from sugarpill I really wanted both palettes but since we went on Sunday they were already sold out of the Burning heart palette by then. So sad. Guess it looks like I gotta get the other online now. Oh well, I really really want it lol. We checked out a lot of stuff there like Crown Brush, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Two Face, NYX and a bunch of other exhibitors. Alex and I are already talking about planning a trip to IMATS 2012.

First things first we met Amy at her SugarPill Cosmetics booth. She's so adorable and I love all the color!

The first YouTube Guru I ran into, MakeupByTiffanyD.

It was amazing meeting Koren of Enkore Makeup. He was so nice and talked to me for a bit. He liked my make up too!

I had to wait in line to meet Elessa of Pursebuzz cause she's super popular. She was so sweet and when we were gonna take a pic I had all my bags and purse, she was like, "girl you can't have all this in the pic, set them down." something like that lol

I knew Josh/Petrilude was gonna be at the OCC booth but since he was in drag I wasn't sure if I'd spot him out. I think I would of but I saw the line of fans waiting to take pics with him. He's an amazing MUA. I ran into a few times while I was there and he said hi every time. He's fabulous!

My buddy Tiffany was suppose to meet us when the show started but she was late but we still met up in the middle of the day. She had a lot of fun and got a lot of goodies on the way.

Queen of Blending, Lauren. She walked by during JulieG713's live tutorial so I had to run over to her and take a pic. I don't know if she was on her way to something but we didn't get to talk. =(

Julieg713 is my absolute favorite YouTube Guru of all freakin' time. I was so so so stoked that I got to meet her. AND she remembered me from my old YouTube makeup tutorial videos. I was so excited she remembered me =D

I was looking for Leesha aka xsparkage all day and I spotted her when we were about to leave and she was doing makeup on someone so I patiently waited for her to finish. She took some time to talk to me and I find that amazing in people to be truely interested in what their fans have to say. I really enjoyed our talk.

The stuff I purchased at IMATS. I got the sweetheart sugarpill palette 30% off so instead of $34, I paid $23.60. Great deal and the Inglot 20 eyeshadow palette I spent $72. Not sure how much it usually is but I know the 10 eyeshadow palette is normally $50 but it was $37 at IMATS. I also got NYX eyeshadow base, two jumbo pencils in Milk and a white chrome eyeshadow. I got 2 free brushes thanks to JulieG from the Crown Brush booth along with my 3 purchases, one blending brush and two sponge tip brushes. I'll do swatches of both palettes I got soon.

❤ Jesse's Girl Eye Dusts Swatches

So I decided to make videos again and one of my most popular ones was the swatch video of the Jesse's Girl Eye Dusts. And since a lot of their names were renamed I basically just updated it. I was having difficulty trying to put the thumbnail I wanted in the right place of the video. It use to be right in the middle but its not working. Anyway here is a little diagram of each eye dust. The pic on the left is a photo of the pigment and the right pic is the swatch. I hope this helps anyone who is deciding to purchase Jesse's Girls.
